Specialist - CAD / Revit – Vertical Links – CDU8. Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a skilled CAD / REVIT Specialist to join our team focused on the Transportation and Cableway System initiatives. This role is crucial in driving the design and development of transportation solutions that are innovative, sustainable, and integral to our vision of creating a world-class entertainment and cultural destination in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit for the Cableway System, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical components into cohesive designs for transport systems
• Update and maintain CAD drawings and Revit models to reflect modifications and ensure accurate project documentation
• Assist in the development of design calculations, reports, and specifications for the Cableway transportation system
• Conduct design reviews to identify and mitigate potential design conflicts and issues, ensuring a collaborative design process
• Coordinate with stakeholders including contractors and consultants to support the successful execution of design projects
• Implement best practices for CAD and Revit usage in design workflow and documentation procedures
• Participate in project meetings to provide design updates and communicate effectively with project teams
• Implement BIM procedures in line with ISO 19650 during design, construction and handover for assigned assets
• Responsible for the assurance and checking of the information within the team
• Upskill all members of the team on CAD & Revit
• Collaborate with PM design teams on procedural elements and compliance
• Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of QIC’s systems, processes and practices considering international best practice, cost reduction and productivity improvement
• Ensures the implementation and management of a Common Data Environment to international standards, through Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
• Manage the Aconex information system on behalf of the team ensuring compliance with QIC procedures and Team requirements
• Produce drawings / graphics for the Team as required
