We’re hiring a Mid-Level Event Designer to take concepts from idea to on-site delivery across brand activations, conferences, festivals, and destination programs in the Kingdom. You’ll translate strategy into zoned floorplans, scenic and stage design, wayfinding systems, guest flows, and production-ready documentation, balancing creativity with technical rigor. You’ll own defined workstreams, collaborate tightly with Production / Technical, and protect design quality through tender, fabrication, install, and showtime. Key Responsibilities
Concept & Experience Layout Develop concepts, zoning, adjacencies, and end-to-end guest journeys (arrivals, VIP, BOH, egress). Create stage / scenic concepts, brand touchpoints, hospitality areas, registration, and interactive zones with clear sightlines and capacities. Design Development & Documentation Produce GA plans, elevations, seating plans, wayfinding / signage schedules, and set / prop call-outs. Coordinate with TDs / Engineers on rigging points, loads, power, AV / lighting, cable paths, and H&S clearances. Prepare tender packs : drawings, specs, finishes, BOQs, and vendor briefing documents. Communicate intent via sketches, moodboards, 3D massing / clay, and selected hero frames. Build clear client decks that explain narrative, flow, and operational logic; iterate fast for pitches and approvals. Liaise with scenic, staging, truss / rigging, LED, lighting, audio, SFX, and print vendors; review shop drawings and samples. Support value engineering without compromising safety or brand experience. On-Site & Handover Attend site surveys; issue redlines / RFIs; oversee mock-ups and installation QA; track snags to completion. Support rehearsals, and final handover. Research & Standards Track regional / global event trends and KSA guidelines; maintain templates, detail libraries, and checklists that speed delivery. Experience :
3–6+ years in event / exhibition / experiential design (agency / studio or production house). Tools :
AutoCAD or Vectorworks (must), 3DS Max (must), Adobe CC (InDesign / Illustrator / Photoshop) Google Slides for decks. Unreal a plus. Technical Literacy :
Rigging basics, AV / lighting fundamentals, materials & scenic fabrication, accessibility, H&S clearances. AI Literacy : Practical use of Visual AI for mooding, comping, and document acceleration, without replacing craft. Language :
