Role Summary
The Projects Director is responsible for leading the strategic delivery of Knowliom\'s large-scale cultural, experiential, and destination-based projects. This role requires deep expertise in project governance, budgeting, team coordination, stakeholder engagement, and risk management—ensuring all projects meet creative, operational, and financial success metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Lead projects from initial briefing and strategy to execution, handover, and post-launch review.Coordinate with internal creative, content, technical, and operational teams to ensure smooth delivery.Maintain project momentum and resolve challenges across creative, logistical, and regulatory fronts.2. Strategic Planning, Budgeting & Governance
Define project vision, delivery frameworks, KPIs, and timelines in collaboration with leadership.Develop and manage comprehensive project budgets , aligning them with financial targets and project goals.Track costs, control expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.Oversee procurement, vendor negotiations, and resource allocation within budget parameters.Establish governance systems for project reporting, financial oversight, and compliance documentation.3. Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary liaison with government partners, clients, creative collaborators, and consultants.Lead status meetings, milestone reviews, and alignment sessions with key stakeholders.Ensure client satisfaction by translating strategic objectives into actionable and measurable project plans.Build, mentor, and scale a multidisciplinary project management team.Promote collaboration, accountability, and performance excellence across all project contributors.5. Risk, Compliance & Quality Control
Anticipate and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle (creative, operational, financial, technical).Uphold health, safety, and cultural site compliance standards.Monitor project quality and ensure outcomes align with Knowliom\'s standards and client expectations.Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.10+ years of experience delivering large-scale cultural, museum, destination, or public engagement projects.Demonstrated expertise in project budgeting, cost control, and financial planning .Proven ability to manage multi-vendor teams, complex timelines, and fast-paced deliverables.Experience in projects within Saudi Arabia or GCC cultural sectors .Strong familiarity with design, fit-out, content production, and operations in cultural venues.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English is a plus, not a requirement#J-18808-Ljbffr
