Overview
As part of the development of our activities in the Naval & Shipbuilding sector in Saudi Arabia, we are looking for a Planning & Logistics Engineer (M / F). Reporting to the Project Technical Manager, your main responsibilities will include :
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the build strategy and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for naval projects
- Support planning and coordination of shipbuilding processes from production to outfitting
- Manage and improve warehouse and logistics operations to ensure just-in-time supply and efficient flow of materials
- Monitor and update Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), self-inspections, and quality plans
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 3834, ISO 45001 standards and classification society rules
- Collaborate with production, QA / QC, logistics, and safety teams
- Apply and promote Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP) measures within operations
- Use standard tools like MS Excel, Word, and planning software to support reporting and coordination
Qualifications
Degree in Naval Architecture or Technical Naval EngineeringAt least 4 years of experience in naval shipbuilding projects (planning, logistics, or production-related roles)Solid understanding of shipbuilding processes, quality systems, and logistics managementFamiliarity with classification society regulations (e.g., DNV, BV, Lloyd’s Register)Good knowledge of technical documentation and reporting standardsEnglish level B2 minimum (advanced level preferred)Soft skills
