Role overview : translate business needs into functional and technical system requirements. This role involves evaluating existing systems, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring the successful design and implementation of effective solutions that meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate current systems to identify areas for enhancement and optimization.
  • Gather, document, and assess user requirements to develop system specifications and workflows.
  • Liaise with users and stakeholders to define additional requirements and new features.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and software developers to design and implement efficient system solutions.
  • Document system interfaces, integrations, and dependencies between new and legacy systems.
  • Validate modifications and new implementations through testing and quality assurance.
  • Train users on new or updated systems and provide ongoing technical support.
  • Ensure that all projects are completed within defined timelines and budgets.
  • Prepare comprehensive system documentation, including functional and technical specifications.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to recommend improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems , or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4–5 years of proven experience as a Systems Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of business information systems , workflows, and data processes.
  • Hands-on experience with software development, system documentation, and testing .
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Visual Basic, C++ , or Java .
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms.
  • A proactive approach to challenges and a commitment to continuous improvement.
