Collections Supervisor

Responsible to manage & oversee daily collection activities, develop and implement effective collection strategies, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations to recover outstanding debts from customers assigned to his domain / region.

Detailed responsibilities

• implement strategies and policies to improve debt recovery rates and collection efficiency.
• Monitor daily collection activities and follow on collections.
• Ensure all collection efforts comply with state and federal laws, company policies, and other regulations
• Handle escalated or complex accounts and disputes, including investigating and resolving difficult problems.
• Prepare and present regular reports to management on collection activities, performance, and trends.
• Work with sales departments to resolve customer issues and optimize collection processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• Understand basic accounting, aging reports & reconciliation to manage collection target achievement.
• In-depth understanding of collection laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Assist legal team to resolve complex overdue accounts.
