Electrical Site Engineer - HV Transmission & Substation Projects

Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrical Site Engineer for a full-time, on-site role supporting high-voltage transmission line projects-overhead (OHTL), underground (UG), and substation installations-across Saudi Arabia. The engineer will be responsible for supervising electrical works, conducting testing and maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical activities at transmission and substation sites.
• Conduct electrical testing, commissioning, and maintenance of OHTL, UG cables, and substation equipment.
• Ensure all site work complies with engineering specifications, safety regulations, and SEC standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve technical issues and maintain project timelines.
• Monitor site progress and prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Support quality assurance and control processes during construction and installation phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical site work for OHTL/UG and substation projects.
• Strong skills in electrical testing, maintenance, and site supervision.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and SEC regulations.
• Proven ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and project management tools.

Additional Requirements for Non-Citizen Applicants

• Must hold a bachelor's degree in engineering awarded at least 5 years ago.

Additional Requirements for Applicants from Saudi Arabia

• Valid Saudi driving license.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership.
• Previous SEC approval or submittal is preferred.
