Lead & drive Industrial Automation Engineering engagements with our customer Work closely with customer to identify their challenges & provide relevant solutions in the Automation & safety engineering area Identify & on-board the right team & drive the team to deliver quality output in automation for brownfield & greenfield projects Understand end‑user requirements and capability to size and architect the system; also extend support to sales team by providing estimates of the effort and schedule needed. Understand the standards and contractual requirements for the projects and provide technical leadership for the same. Guide the team to write, test & develop requirements for application code and failure‑mode driven validation methodologies. Responsible for FAT and SAT; provide necessary support for commissioning and PT to the respective team. Review customer requirements / specifications and provide technical guidance to the team to solve complex challenges in execution. Qualifications / Job Requirements

Proficient in communication protocols configuration (OPC, Modbus, etc.) Expertise in DCS, system & control logic design, implementation, commissioning & troubleshooting as per various industry standards Expertise in ABB systems, processes and methodologies for automation solution implementation Experience interpreting P&IDs, control system specifications, control philosophy & communication configuration Full lifecycle experience of automation projects in industries such as O&G, petrochemical, pharma, etc. Understanding of full system and how it addresses end‑user requirements Experience in application design, HMI design and system design Experience / exposure to ABB systems and software : Symphony Plus, 800xA, Safeguard, P13 / P14, Safety – High Integrity, Advant Controller, SCADAvantage, Alarm Management Knowledgeable in safety – high integrity, cyber security, PPM IEC integration, terminal management system, LPM (Loop Performance Management) Support bids & proposals – automation Capable of handling multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment and prioritizing to meet business objectives Knowledge in ISA / ASM standard methodologies Experienced in FAT support processes & remote support for any field issues Good leadership, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills Experience
