Senior Service Technician – Carrier Climate Solutions Transportation
Carrier Climate Solutions Transportation is seeking an experienced Senior Service Technician to maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, refrigeration, and fire protection equipment across our customer portfolio. The role requires strong technical knowledge, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent in Air‑Conditioning & Refrigeration
- 5–8 years of HVAC industry experience
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
Principles and practices of HVAC equipment maintenance and repair inline with industry practices and manufacturer guidelinesHazard & safety practices and procedures used in installing, repairing & maintaining HVAC equipment and MSDS sheetsUnderstanding and practices of tool utilization & managementPreparation & filling of inspection reports / technical reportsCompliance with quality management practices as per company standards & applicable quality standardsGood English communication skillsBasic knowledge of metal sheets, electrical, carpentry & building automation controlsKey Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Follow standard processes to accomplish tasks and follow oral and written directionsAttend and complete assigned tasks within the assigned time and ensure quality services & customer satisfactionLeave site clean & neat; keep customer informed with task nature & progress on site arrival and prior leaving work siteFill up Job Completion Certificate / Job Card / EH&S site surveysInspect air‑conditioning units to ensure efficient operation & diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions and make recommendationsMake estimates of labor hours & materials required; prepare technical reports and root‑cause analysisRepair and replace damaged parts; perform regular scheduled maintenance & maintain maintenance recordsAdjust and maintain internal electrical and electronic control systems; clean coils, blowers and check motors, belt tensionsWork independently in the absence of supervision; recognize safety hazards; identify situations requiring escalationAble to rig & properly set up gantry for safely lifting equipment, overhauling pumps, chillersManage & organize machinery tools pickup, delivery, usage & inventory as applicableAttend regular EH&S / technical trainings & meetingsMinimum Product Knowledge
