Role Overview As a Level Designer, you’ll take full ownership of the level creation pipeline, from conceptualization to live operations. You’ll be instrumental in shaping gameplay experiences that delight players and drive long‑term engagement and monetization. You’ll also contribute to team strategy and mentor fellow designers to elevate the entire product line.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end‑to‑end level design process for a mobile puzzle game.
Design compelling, well‑balanced levels that align with difficulty curves and player retention goals.
Collaborate closely with UX, product, and analytics teams to implement and iterate on level content.
Leverage A / B testing and behavioral data to refine level design for optimal player experience and monetization.
Mentor junior designers and guide design direction with best practices and consistent feedback.
Maintain and enhance tools, pipelines, and documentation to support efficient content production.
Desired Skills & Experience
Demonstrated success designing levels for mobile puzzle games (e.g., match‑3, tile‑blast, or physics‑based titles).
Deep understanding of puzzle mechanics, player motivation, difficulty pacing, and engagement loops.
Experience across a full game development cycle, from pre‑production to live ops.
Proficiency with Unity and Excel for implementing and balancing level content.
