Job Description

Position Objective : The position is responsible for supporting the training mission by leveraging changing skills and quality development initiatives to train the Food and Beverage teams according to F&B values, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct training needs analysis with the assistance of the Training Manager.
  • Devise and communicate monthly and weekly departmental training plans; schedule team members for F&B training.
  • Ensure availability of a comprehensive and up-to-date F&B manual, policies, procedures, and task breakdowns; provide each team member with a personal copy.
  • Coordinate F&B orientation for new team members and ensure completion of their training checklist within the first week.
  • Document training attendance for each team member.
  • Communicate and train on F&B standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Maximize employee productivity and morale within the store; maintain discipline according to F&B guidelines and local regulations.
  • Research and develop new training programs.

Presentation and Management :

  • Ensure new joiners practice correct stock packaging and maintain stock levels to maximize sales.
  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store maintenance.
  • Communicate changes in stock or store layout effectively to the team.
  • Ensure staff adhere to retail standards.
  • Manage back store operations and merchandise replenishment.

    • Health & Safety :

  • Use or wear personal protective equipment as required.
  • Follow safe work practices and procedures.
  • Implement and monitor health and safety programs.
  • Conduct workplace inspections and respond to hazards.
  • Report injuries and conduct accident investigations.
  • Enforce health and safety policies and disciplinary actions for non-compliance.
