Job Brief

We are looking for an innovative Procurement Engineer in Riyadh, with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Architecture, Mechanical or Electrical). The procurement engineer will be responsible for the purchasing process from selecting suppliers to ensuring stock optimization, as well as providing guidance on sourcing and procurement processes. Additionally, the role includes assisting with the procurement process, including contract management, contract negotiation, and preparation of purchase orders.

Main duties include locating key suppliers, negotiating the company’s purchasing agreements, and ensuring their materials and products meet the company’s specifications.

Main Responsibilities

• Preparation of RFPs and dispatch to contractors or consultant offices, including instructions, general contract conditions, special conditions, review quantities tables, and other documents.
• Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
• Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility.
• Building and maintaining long‑term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
• Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
• Reviewing quality of purchased products.
• Preparing procurement reports.
