  • Architectural Drafting : Create comprehensive architectural floor plans, elevations, site plans, and associated supplementary documentation.
  • Site / Plot Plan : Draft detailed site / plot plans using county documentation, including existing structures, setbacks, easements, landscaping, drainage, utility connections, and the location of new structures.
  • Schedules : Develop schedules for doors, windows, lighting fixtures, appliances, plumbing fixtures, and HVAC equipment.
  • Roof Plan : Draft roof plans indicating dimensions, slope, materials, pitch, and attic venting locations / calculations.
  • Utility Plans : Prepare utility plans showing necessary electrical, mechanical, and plumbing fixtures and appliances.
  • Exterior Elevations : Draft exterior elevations, including doors, windows, roof pitch, exterior type, grade / slope, roofing type, and classification.
  • Architectural Details : Create general architectural reference sections and details as required.
  • CalGreen Documentation : Generate CalGreen documentation sheets, adhering to California Residential Mandatory Measures and Green Building Standards codes.
  • Preliminary Structural Plans : Draft preliminary foundation plans showing stem walls, slabs, footings, pier and post specifications, and structural notes based on a licensed structural engineer'...Drafting permit ready set of plans; addressing planning, fire and building comments from the City (Roseville, Sacramento, Rocklin, Fairfield, etc.) per 2022 CRC.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in CAD software for architectural drafting.
  • Understanding of residential construction practices and terminology.
  • Familiarity with the CRC 2022 and City of Sacramento, Roseville, Fairfield, Rocklin building department requirements.
  • Ability to interpret and apply structural engineering requirements to architectural drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
