The Landing Gear Certifying Staff is responsible for ensuring the airworthiness and compliance of landing gear systems on commercial aircraft. This role involves performing inspections, overseeing maintenance, and certification for landing gear repair & overhaul to meet regulatory and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspections and certification of landing gear in accordance with aviation regulations (EASA Part 145).
- Review and validate maintenance records, work orders, and technical documentation.
- Ensure all landing gear maintenance activities comply with manufacturer specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers and maintenance technicians to resolve technical issues and improve operational efficiency.
- Authorize the release of aircraft for service following landing gear maintenance and inspections.
- Participate in incident investigations involving landing gear systems and recommend corrective actions.
Qualifications
Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license or equivalent certification.Specialized training and experience in landing gear systems and components.Holds a valid A320 certifying staff authorization.In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, safety protocols, and quality assurance practices.#J-18808-Ljbffr
