Site Manager

Site Manager – Ma’aden Gold Mine Project (Ar Rjum, KSA) Wood is seeking a Site Manager to support our Projects business on a strategic gold mine and processing facility development for Ma’aden, aligned with Vision 2030 and 2040 Strategic Objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Review construction execution plans, schedules and method statements.

On-site presence to monitor construction progress, contractor performance and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Support in resolving technical queries, managing field changes and updating as-built documentation.

Interface management among multiple contractors and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.

Oversight of mechanical completion, punch‑list closure and support during commissioning and pre‑startup phases.

Qualifications

ISCED Level 6 (Bachelor’s) in engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience.

Minimum 10 years practical construction experience if degree‑qualified, or 15 years if trade discipline qualified.

Excellent technical knowledge of construction disciplines and associated processes.

Ability to identify risk to delivery, build in and implement mitigation and contingency plans.

Expert interpretation of discipline documentation and technical specifications.

Advanced knowledge of Risk Assessments, HAZOPS and HAZIDS.

Experience supervising and managing teams, effective delegation and motivational skills.
