Rigging Engineer

Overview

Responsibilities include use of engineering expertise to make design drawings and conduct mathematical calculations to determine the proper job method. Provide feasibility studies, fabrication drawings or other material calculations for specialty jobs such as Lift systems. Provide design drawings and calculations to clients during the bid phase of project. Attend bid and planning meetings with members of the Sales Department to provide engineering counsel. As projects are awarded must review all drawings and calculations. Provide on-site engineering support and assistance to field personnel setting up equipment for the project. Maintain a project file containing engineering drawings, calculations, ballast plans, feasibility studies and project correspondence. Responsibilities
