The Senior Data Engineer is responsible for independently performing all data engineering-related tasks for the Analytics Team. This includes designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes, automating code and workflows, and continuously improving the speed and quality of data transformation for various business verticals. The role requires proficiency in SQL, Big Data technologies, and automation tools like Informatica. Job Dimensions

Solicit and scope proposed AI & Analytics use cases, both internally and externally, in coordination with business and support teams. MIS Reporting & Automation : Automate reports and SQL procedures as required by business stakeholders. Work on projects to deliver robust Data Engineering solutions utilizing existing platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, Informatica). Perform prototyping and deliver data-related requirements for AI & Analytics solutions. Data Quality Management : Investigate data quality issues and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution. Team Support : Support team members in the implementation of AI & Analytics solutions. Policy & Process Adherence : Implement approved sectoral policies, processes, and procedures. Provide instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence to ensure work is carried out in a controlled manner. Adhere to all regulations and control functions within the bank to ensure compliance with Governance, Audit, Risk, and Anti-Fraud policies. Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in SQL. Experience with Big Data technologies. Expertise in automation tools, specifically Informatica. Strong skills in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks. Ability to automate codes and processes. Experience in improving data transformation speed and quality. Problem-Solving : Ability to investigate and resolve data quality issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with business / support teams and other technical teams.
