Overview
The Cybersecurity Operations Manager oversees the 24×7 Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring robust monitoring, detection, and response to cyber threats. The role aligns with regional cybersecurity governance and drives compliance with Saudi NCA regulations, ISO 27001, and other standards. Key Responsibilities
Lead SOC operations, ensuring effective incident detection, response, and recovery. Maintain compliance with Saudi NCA ECC / CCC and other regulatory frameworks. Oversee threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and risk governance. Approve security architecture decisions and align solutions with zero-trust principles. Develop team talent through training, mentorship, and certification paths (e.g., CISSP, GCIH). Report operational metrics (MTTD, MTTR) and risks to senior leadership. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred). 6+ years in cybersecurity, including 3+ years managing SOC teams. Certifications : CISSP, CISM, or GCIH preferred. Fluency in English and Arabic. Skills
Strong leadership in high-pressure environments. Expertise in incident response, risk management, and security architecture. Ability to communicate cybersecurity strategies to stakeholders. This role is critical to safeguarding the organization’s digital assets and fostering a culture of security excellence.
