Sales Manager – Government Sector

The role focuses on driving ICT and telecom infrastructure opportunities within ministries, authorities, and public sector entities. The candidate is expected to lead the complete activity with the help of the sales department and management. The Sales Manager – Gov. Sector will be reporting to the Head of Sales.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies for Saudi government clients, including ministries, agencies, and government-owned companies.

Identify and pursue ICT infrastructure projects (networks, security, systems, ISP / OSP, IT managed services, etc.).

Build and maintain long-term relationships with government entities.

Lead complex bids and proposals in coordination with presales, technical, and delivery teams.

Ensure compliance with government procurement processes (Etimad platform, RFP / RFQ regulations, framework agreements).

Achieve revenue targets and contribute to long-term growth in the government sector.

Provide market intelligence and insights on public sector initiatives.

Engage in proactive selling by creating demand and shaping customer needs at very early stages of the sales cycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Telecommunications, or related field. Masters preferred.

6+ years of sales management / account management experience working for a system integrator in Saudi Arabia, with at least 5 years focused on Saudi government sector clients.

Proven track record of winning government ICT / telecom projects.

Strong knowledge of ICT solutions (network infrastructure, cybersecurity, IP telephony, data centers, cloud, managed services).

Deep understanding of Saudi government procurement systems, tendering processes, and compliance requirements.

Must be Arabic Speaker

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in both Arabic and English.

Preferred Skills

Established relationships with Saudi ministries, Vision 2030 programs, and public sector entities.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex bidding processes.

Strong market knowledge of ICT and telecom regulations in Saudi Arabia.
