Job Purpose : The candidate will play a critical role during the interior and exterior finishing stages, ensuring that quality, coordination, and aesthetics are delivered in accordance with the project specifications, timelines, and the developer’s expectations.
- Oversee all finishing activities across multiple office buildings, including flooring, ceiling, partitions, joinery, painting, cladding, glazing, and other architectural finishes.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure execution in line with approved materials, shop drawings, and mock-ups.
- Ensure that all finishes are implemented to the highest quality standards and match the design intent.
- Coordinate closely with MEP, structural, and architectural teams to prevent clashes or rework during finishing.
- Align finishing sequencing with build activities to ensure a smooth transition between construction and fit‑out stages.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality, workmanship, and adherence to specifications.
- Lead the snagging and de‑snagging process, including list generation, tracking, and closure.
- Review and approve mock‑ups, samples, and first‑of‐kind installations before mass implementation.
- Track and report progress of finishing activities in coordination with the main contractor and consultant.
- Ensure timely readiness of areas for handover testing and commissioning.
- Support in the preparation of turnover documents and close‑out deliverables.
- Follow up on the delivery and installation of finishing materials, ensuring compliance with approved specifications.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the developer’s site team, the consultant, and the contractor on all finishing‑related matters.
- Interface with the quality engineer, architect, and construction managers to resolve site finishing issues proactively.
Division Project Management : Construction Finishing Manager, reporting to Senior Project Manager.
Required Competencies and Skills :
Strong command of interior fit‑out, façade finishing, and interface detailing.Ability to lead multi‑tasking finishing teams and sequence work effectively.Strong leadership in managing multiple trades and subcontractors across various buildings / zones.Ability to coordinate finishing work with stakeholders, MEP teams, and other disciplines.Proven experience in managing snagging quality checklists and visual mock‑ups.Familiar with finishing standards and tolerances, particularly in high‑end office or commercial spaces.Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, BIM, Excel, PowerPoint & Aconex.Education, Certification, and Experience Requirements :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.Experience : 12–15 years in construction and finishing works, with at least 5–7 years in a leadership role overseeing architectural finishes on significant commercial or office developments.#J-18808-Ljbffr
