Planning Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Planning Engineer to join our Project Management Unit in Riyadh. The successful candidate will support project managers and delivery teams in planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting on complex infrastructure and building projects. This role requires expertise in project controls, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate progress and schedule risks to stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other planning tools.
• Monitor project progress, identify slippages, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support project managers in preparing baseline schedules, resource plans, and work breakdown structures (WBS).
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and earned value analyses for internal and client reporting.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather updates and forecast timelines.
• Assist with claims analysis, delay impact assessments, and time extension requests.
• Participate in risk workshops, tracking and updating schedule-related risk items.
• Ensure adherence to Zutari’s PMU standards, procedures, and best practices.
