Job Overview We are seeking a qualified and experienced Health and Safety Officer (HSO) to develop, implement, and oversee HSE policies ensuring compliance with KSA regulations and international standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk assessment, safety training, and incident prevention within (your industry).

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies in compliance with Saudi OHS laws and international standards.

Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.

Investigate workplace incidents, near-misses, and accidents, and recommend corrective actions.

Deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors.

Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and enforce safety protocols.

Maintain HSE documentation, including permits, reports, and emergency plans.

Liaise with government authorities, clients, and subcontractors on HSE matters.

Promote a strong safety culture through awareness campaigns and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of HSE experience in (industry, e.g., construction, oil & gas, manufacturing).

Certifications : NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certification is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations (e.g., SCIA, GOSI, Civil Defense).

Excellent communication, training, and reporting skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office & HSE management software.

Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
