Senior Manager, Consulting at International Air Transport Association (IATA). Reporting to the Senior Principal and head of IATA Consulting for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, the Senior Manager, Consulting Africa and Middle East (AME) is responsible for business development as well as managing and delivering IATA Consulting projects in the AME region with a special focus on Saudi Arabia. The Senior Manager, Consulting AME region will support development of new consulting offerings and lead the delivery of consulting projects in the AME region, with emphasis on Saudi Arabia. Airport planning expertise and exposure to other consulting aviation areas are preferred, including : Airlines Airport passenger experience and security Ground handling and cargo Safety and civil aviation Environment Aviation economics The role may involve creating new consulting solutions and supporting marketing and promotional activities. What Your Day Would Be Like

Identify consulting opportunities, develop responses to expressions of interest and proposals, and negotiate contracts to closure in line with budget targets. Develop consultancy services portfolio and execute strategic business plans with regional sales and central marketing. Evaluate and negotiate partnerships with consultancy firms for specific engagements. Develop and negotiate contracts for external resources (pricing, specifications, resource allocation). Manage execution and delivery of aviation consultancy projects using best practices. Prepare monthly financial projections and provide progress and financial status updates. Maintain knowledge of trends in consultancy areas and recommend product and service improvements and new product development. Design new consulting solutions and coordinate with Marketing for promotional material and campaigns. Promote Consulting activities at events, conferences, and forums to increase uptake of services. What we would love to hear from you

University degree (Master preferred) in Business Administration, Economics or Finance. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with an established aviation consulting firm, including project delivery and report writing with broad international experience. Experience on airport and airline projects in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East; preference for airport master planning projects. Experience presenting to C-Suite executives; having held a C-level position is a plus. Strong understanding of aviation industry economics; excellent PC skills (MS Office and MS Project); strong English communication; knowledge of Arabic or a third language is advantageous. Strong project management, analytical, customer- and quality-oriented mindset; creative, entrepreneurial, and flexible team player; autonomous with remote support as needed.
