How You Will Contribute :

  • Develop trusted relationships with senior technical and business leaders in the Saudi telecom sector.
  • Lead solution discussions, technical proposals, and product demonstrations.
  • Identify and drive growth opportunities aligned with regional telecom trends.
  • Provide expert insights on Ciena’s WaveLogicTM optical solutions, 6500 Packet-Optical platforms, and routing / switching products.
  • Analyze regional regulations, competitive dynamics, and technological advancements.
  • Support strategic initiatives with key operators like STC and other regional carriers.
  • Collaborate across teams to align solutions with customer needs and market demands.

The Must Haves :

  • 10+ years of experience in telecommunications, with expertise in optical transport, IP / MPLS, and network architecture.
  • Deep knowledge of the Saudi Arabian and Middle Eastern telecom landscape.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic, with exceptional communication skills for technical and business audiences.
  • Proven ability to engage senior telecom executives and translate technical solutions into measurable business outcomes.
  • Willingness to travel (~20%) across Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.
  • Assets :

  • Familiarity with Ciena’s WaveLogicTM optical solutions and 6500 Packet-Optical platforms.
  • Experience working with regional telecom operators.
  • Knowledge of automation solutions for network optimization.
  • Background in developing strategic partnerships within the telecom industry.
  • Understanding of emerging technologies driving the telecom sector.
  • Prior experience with high-growth market strategies in the region.
  • Capability to manage cross-functional collaboration within a global organization.
