Requirements
Valid Safe Pass certification
Minimum 3+ years of carpentry experience (or relevant trade experience)
Strong understanding of Irish building regulations and construction site safety
Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
Proficient with a variety of hand and power tools
Physically capable of manual labour and lifting heavy materials
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable transport to reach various sites in Dublin and surrounding areas
Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed
Additional certifications such as First Aid or Working at Heights are a plus
Responsibilities
Interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints
Measure, cut, and assemble wood, metal, or composite materials to precise specifications
Install structures, frameworks, and fixtures
Ensure all work complies with Irish building codes and safety regulations
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
Collaborate with other trades (e.g., electricians, plumbers) for project integration
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
Perform quality control inspections on completed work
Accurately document materials used, work completed, and hours worked
Troubleshoot issues and provide on-site solutions
Participate in site meetings and update supervisors on progress
Mentor apprentices and assist with team training when needed
