Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems for residencial, commercial and goverment projects in accordance with technical specifications and applicable standards.
• Design HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems according to relevant standards and project requirements.
• Supervise the implementation of mechanical works and ensure compliance with approved designs.
• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings using software such assuch as AutoCAD, Revit and calcuation programs.
• Conduct thermal and hydraulic calculations and evaluate system efficiency.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure proper integration of mechanical systems.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Ensure all works are compliant with local and international codes and standards.
• Ensure all designs comply with SBC and NEC mechanical codes.
• Produce detailed load schedules, voltage drop analysis, short circuit calculations, and cable sizing reports.
• Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, safety, and civil disciplines for integrated project delivery.
• Review shop drawings and respond to contractor RFIs during the construction phase.
• Provide technical support to site teams when needed.
• Participate in technical meetings with clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure design quality and delivery within specified deadlines.
