A leading Talent Acquisition Company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Marine Instrumentation and Survey Specialist to join our esteemed organization. The role involves leading marine operations by designing, implementing, and managing instrumentation and survey systems for marine environments. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful marine survey projects, focusing on data collection and analysis. Responsibilities
Manage the Marine Technology Laboratory, including processes, tools, and safety procedures. Maintain all relevant equipment and manage survey instrumentation, including installation, calibration, and training. Handle electronic and mechanical instrumentation, project management, and complex system troubleshooting. Support marine and terrestrial surveys by planning, conducting, and leading technology applications following scientific methodologies. Coordinate with project managers to identify suitable technologies for survey accuracy and reliability. Oversee project budgets, schedules, and logistics. Develop marine and terrestrial robotics and autonomous survey solutions, including drones and unmanned vehicles. Rapidly learn new processing software and pursue international accreditation as needed. Minimum qualifications include a relevant bachelor's degree in marine surveying, electrical, or mechanical engineering with at least 5 years of related experience, or vocational qualifications (e.g., CAT A or B) with at least 4 years of relevant experience. Proficiency with industry-standard survey equipment and software, along with strong data collection knowledge, is required. Experience in marine data techniques, project management, and familiarity with autonomous survey technologies is advantageous. Ability to speak and write Arabic and experience working in the Middle East or with Saudi government ministries are preferred. Diving skills are a plus but not mandatory.
