Job Purpose / Objective
Administering emergency medical care to injured and critically ill patients in emergency environments or during transportation as a member of an emergency medical team.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Provide care during patient resuscitation in emergencies before hospital admission. Determine priority for emergency care under the supervision of the line manager. Assess the nature and extent of injuries or illnesses and record patient information and vital signs. Administer medical care during emergencies, such as CPR, AED, bleeding control, and spinal injury prevention. Lift and move patients as necessary for treatment and transportation. Monitor patient conditions and stabilization en route to hospitals. Operate emergency medical apparatus and equipment. Drive ambulance when required. Maintain inventory of medical equipment and supplies, ensuring proper functioning. Keep vehicle clean and in good operating condition. Assist in calming family members and the public at the scene. Provide patient and family education as needed. Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG. Enhance patient experience with compassion, respect, and dignity. Perform other related duties within their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Education / Professional Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Medical Services. Experience
Fresh graduate; preferably with one year of experience. Professional Licensing / Certification / Training
BCLS, ACLS provider & Trauma Life Support certification. Saudi Council registration. Skills Compliance with online incident reporting systems, paramedic operations, technical skills, emergency event management.
