Soon to be one of the region’s foremost luxury beachside destinations, The Red Sea will comprise of the idyllic natural islands and lagoons across 200 kms of coastline along the western coast of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, between the cities of Umluj and Al Wajh. The new Four Seasons Resort will be located on Shura Island, the hub of the development and home to a yacht marina, leisure and lifestyle facilities, retail offerings, 18-hole golf course and more. The Red Sea destination is being built with sustainable practices and tourism at its core, with the masterplan informed by an environmental simulation to minimize over-tourism while providing guests with an exceptional travel and lifestyle experience. The destination will also rely on renewable energy and will only develop a small portion of the islands with expansive dedicated conservation zones. The new Four Seasons Resort will offer approximately 149 rooms and suites, all with uninterrupted views over white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters. The property will also feature six restaurant and lounge outlets, meeting and events spaces, a marine discovery centre, Kids for All Seasons space and much more. About The Role

Be part of the pioneering team at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Red Sea, a world-class luxury destination on the pristine Saudi coastline. As Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the resort’s infrastructure during your assigned shift, ensuring all systems function smoothly and efficiently. You will provide technical support across various areas including guest rooms, back-of-house, and public spaces, playing a key role in delivering seamless service in a luxury hospitality environment. What You Will Do

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. Respond promptly to guest room and operational engineering requests during your shift. Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures to minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with Four Seasons safety and hygiene standards, as well as local regulations. Collaborate with other departments to provide technical support as needed. Support energy-saving initiatives and sustainability efforts across the resort. Report critical incidents and escalate major issues to the Engineering Supervisor or leadership team. What You Bring

At least 2 years of experience in a similar engineering or maintenance role within a luxury hotel or resort. Hands-on technical skills in electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and general building maintenance. Familiarity with using maintenance software or digital reporting tools. Ability to work independently and efficiently during assigned shifts. Pre-opening or large property experience is an advantage. Fluency in English is required. Candidates must be eligible to work in Saudi Arabia. What We Offer
