Overview
Noon Academy is a leading edtech platform in the Middle East with millions of students and teachers using our app to learn, teach, and collaborate. We are seeking a Saudi female UX researcher for a 3-month contract (September–November 2025) to conduct classroom observations and student research at female campuses in Riyadh. This role informs product decisions around classroom activities and educational technology features.
Scope of Work
- Duration : 3 months (September – November 2025)
- Location : Female campuses in Riyadh (specific locations TBD)
- Schedule : Part-time, 2 days per week, mornings (7 : 30 AM – 11 : 00 AM window; schedule may be Sun–Wed and is not finalized yet)
- Target : 20 Qudrat session observations total (out of 80 sessions expected in this timeframe)
Deliverables
Publish detailed observation reports in Arabic or English (preferred) for each session within 4–6 hours after the session ends. Documentation should describe student engagement, behavior patterns, and learning dynamics in Notion document format.Responsibilities
1. In-Person Classroom ObservationsAttend live hybrid learning sessions at female campuses at least two days per week
Observe teacher–student interactions and classroom managementNote specific student engagement / disengagement momentsProvide rapid insights delivery2. Under-the-surface insights Provide hypotheses about why events occur; maintain consistent documentation across observations; debrief with the product team (male campuses) to identify differences between male and female campuses.3. Student Research & InterviewsConduct brief interviews with students during or after sessions to explore deeper understanding of in-class behaviors
Gather qualitative insights on student experience and preferences4. Synthesis WorkshopsConduct two synthesis workshops with the wider team to inform decisions on classroom activity types and features
Present synthesis results to the wider team and participate in questionsQualifications
