Intensive Care Nurse

Overview

Responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care that transforms lives through evidence-based practices to patients in a clinical setting. The Registered Nurse assesses patient health problems and needs, develops and implements nursing care plans, and maintains medical records. The role works closely with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Duties

Conducts initial and ongoing assessments of patient's health, including physical examinations, taking vital signs, and monitoring symptoms.

Maintains accurate and detailed patient care records, including observations, interventions, and responses.

Provides emotional support to patients and families, addressing concerns and offering reassurance during stressful times.

Oversees the work of junior staff and nursing students and provides guidance and support as needed.

Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care.

Identifies and addresses issues or challenges in patient care and contributes to solutions and improvements in practice.

Other duties as assigned by the nursing manager within the scope of the job.

Qualifications

Skills and Abilities :

Experience : Minimum of one year of clinical experience. RN resident : staff with less than one year of experience will go through the RN residency program (Fakeeh Graduate).

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.

Language : Excellent command of English; Arabic is a plus.
