Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing a supplier account relationship, ensuring all requirements are managed accurately, on time delivery is achieved, demand is managed in the quickest timeframe to mitigate delay in delivery to meet our customer needs
• Demand requisitions are processed with the upmost priority.
• Purchase orders are raised correctly and accurately against all demands
• Working alongside the planning and order book team to manage your supplier order book on a daily basis Costs savings are identified and achieved to gain enhanced profit for the business
• Responsible for part number data accuracy within the internal system to ensure demand and Purchase Orders are raised correctly
• Management of P / O notes are updated on a regular basis and audit trail for all spend is managed
• Working in a pressurized environment means that priorities may change on a daily basis, ability to manage multiple tasks and changes in direction is a must to ensure the operational fleet remain airborne
• Ability to work with multi-functional teams and individual stakeholders to unblock issues relating to your supplier account and order book is a must.
• Using your own initiative to find solutions and present findings to you manage and Head of Procurement to assist with managing requirements.
• Utilize procurement tools to assess supplier spend, create strategies to create cost saving opportunities, generate negotiation leverage opportunities and be confident to discuss strategies with your supplier.
• Line manager reserves the right to add and include other tasks as and when required to meet business needs.
