Bechtel has managed the Jubail project, located in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, since it began in the mid-1970s. Bechtel serves as the Management Services Contractor (MSC), or “owner’s representative” for our client, the Royal Commission (RC). We are the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) managers, managing design submissions from local AE firms, and overseeing the actual construction work being performed by local contractors and sub-contractors in Jubail and Ras-Al-Khair Industrial Cities. In June 2021, Bechtel’s contract with the Royal Commission was renewed for another 5 years with work focusing on building new residential communities, iconic buildings / bridges, major site preparation, commercial buildings, mosques, schools, hospitals, sports facilities, clinics, universities, utility services and infrastructure (electrical sub-stations, lift stations), roads and highways, port & pipeline expansions, and more. Job Summary :

In this role, you will monitor and organize subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex project with multiple stakeholders’ involvement, through the coordination and instruction of subcontractor’s management staff. Your field supervision will help ensure operations are planned to coincide with overall established schedules and that work methods are planned and executed safely. Major Responsibilities :

Monitors and organizes subcontractor activities, through coordination and instruction of subcontractor’s management staff within the area of responsibility. Role supports on mid-size projects of medium to high complexity with multiple stakeholders’ involvement. Planning

Monitors subcontractor construction schedules, resource charts, and material and equipment requirements. Reviews subcontractor construction methods, schedules, manning charts, and material and equipment requirements. Coordinates the construction operations impact on external interfaces to ensure they coincide with the overall established schedules. Safety / Quality

Monitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other requirements Enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management. Technical

Supports Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents Coordinates engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals. Coordinates with Design on constructability issues. Education and Experience Requirements :

Requires bachelor\'s degree (or internationalequivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14years of relevant work experience.
