الوصف الوظيفيReview Technical Data Sheets , factory test reports , and method statements submitted by contractors. Review and validate : Cable sizing & selection Route drawings & trench details Schematic diagrams & network layouts Induced voltage, ampacity, sheath circulating current calculations Ensure full compliance with international engineering standards. Review cable sleeves / openings and duct bank layouts for LV / MV / HV / EHV systems inside substations. Liaise effectively with internal teams, contractor design groups, manufacturers, vendors, and other project stakeholders. Provide cost-effective , technically solid solutions and address design challenges at all project stages. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory) Relevant experience in UG cable design, substation projects, or high-voltage networks. Mid-Senior level Full-time Engineering and Information Technology
Underground Cable (UG) Design Engineer
We are looking for a highly skilled Underground Cable (UG) Design Engineer with strong experience in HV / EHV cable systems and substation interface designs (up to 380 kV).
Key Responsibilities
Scope & Layout Development
- Provide technical inputs for preparing Scope of Work and layout drawings for substations up to 380 kV and associated UG cable circuits.
- Evaluate technical offers during the tendering stage.
Design Review & Engineering Calculations
Cable Sleeves, Duct Banks & Interfaces
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
Engineering Solutions & Risk Mitigation
