FOREMAN, ELECTRICAL

Responsibilities Overseeing and coordinating electrical construction activities, ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and functionality of electrical systems within the villas. Managing electrical teams, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring that electrical work meets project specifications and regulatory requirements.

Key Accountability Areas

Team Supervision and Leadership : Lead and support electrical teams, including electricians and apprentices. Assign tasks based on skills and project needs for efficient workflow.

Project Coordination and Collaboration : Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and trades to plan electrical work aligned with timelines. Communicate with clients and stakeholders about project progress and resolve issues promptly.

Technical Expertise and Compliance : Interpret blueprints and specifications to define the scope of electrical work. Ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards.

Material and Budget Management : Coordinate procurement of electrical materials and ensure availability.

Inspection and Troubleshooting : Oversee testing and inspection of electrical systems for compliance. Assist in troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.

Documentation and Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of work progress, material usage, and inspections.

HR Proficiency : Train subordinates, provide leadership, coaching, and direction. Delegate subordinates and ensure fair task distribution to maintain morale.

Delivery : Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets. Utilize resources effectively and provide periodic reports.

Problem-Solving : Resolve related problems and Escalate complex operational issues.

Quality : Ensure quality requirements through effective quality control processes and specifications.

Business Process Improvements : Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities.

Compliance : Comply with related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Safety : Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures.

Qualifications

Diploma Degree in Electrical Institute.

Work Experience : 5 to 10 Years.

Technical / Functional Competencies : Materials / Parts Knowledge, Communication, Problem Solving.
