Overview
Junior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Uvera. You will contribute to the design, prototyping, testing, and maintenance of IoT-enabled devices while working closely with experienced engineers across hardware, firmware, and product design. Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototyping, and testing of electronics hardware and embedded systems for IoT devices.
- Firmware development and validation for microcontrollers and sensors.
- PCB design, soldering, and troubleshooting of electronic circuits.
- Conduct testing and data collection to ensure device performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware, firmware, and software.
- Maintain inventory tracking for electronic components and assist in ensuring component availability.
- Preventive maintenance and calibration of production equipment.
- Technical documentation, assembly instructions, and testing procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.2+ years of experience with embedded systems, microcontroller programming (ARM / AVR), and communication protocols (I²C, SPI, UART).2+ years of experience with IoT protocols (MQTT, HTTPs).2+ years of experience with PCB design tools (Eagle, Altium, KiCad).Hands-on skills in soldering, wiring, and troubleshooting electrical systems.Proficiency in programming languages such as C / C++ or Python.Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and eagerness to learn.Proficiency in written and spoken English.Nice to Have
Familiarity with Linux builds (Yocto Project) or embedded Linux development.Exposure to cloud IoT platforms (e.g., AWS IoT Core).PLC programming and integration.Type of employment
