Overview
Wood is currently looking for a Manager Contracts & Procurement to support our Projects business. Ma’aden is executing a strategic project to develop a new gold mine and processing facility in alignment with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and Ma’aden’s 2040 Strategic Objectives. Located in Ar Rjum, KSA. Responsibilities
Review the EPCM Contractor’s procurement plans, material requisitions, and procurement schedules. Coordinate technical evaluation of vendor proposals, bid tabulations (TBEs), and vendor selection processes and commercial evaluations (CBE). Review and validate purchase orders (POs), vendor documentation, logistics plans, and quality assurance measures. Coordinate and participate in FATs, vendor inspections, and expediting activities. Support in managing long‑lead items, equipment tracking, and resolving vendor related issues. Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure complete, timely integration of vendor data into project deliverables. Qualifications
Experience and proven track record of contract review, drafting, and negotiation in a service company environment. Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience, with industry exposure to key contracting principles. Experience in leading and managing a team (if applicable). Expert knowledge of contract terms, contract principles, and drafting and rollout of contracting policies. Working knowledge of the Company Finance and HR systems. Awareness of all relevant corporate and project procedures. Excellent understanding of client contract structures, principles, and policies. Contract experience covering engineering and construction projects in at least one of the following sectors : life sciences, mining, power, infrastructure, environmental and / or oil and gas industries, EPC, EPCm, standard contract model forms (including NEC, FIDIC, JCT, LOGIC or regional equivalents). Minimum 6-10+ years relevant experience. Supervisory experience 2-6 years. Benefits
