Overview The opportunity to join our EY Law practice as a Corporate Lawyer where you will work with high-profile organizations on diverse legal advisory projects (including carve-outs, reorganizations and joint ventures) advising clients on all matters related to corporate transactions, including transformation projects for Government related entities.

Responsibilities

Manage the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding corporate transaction projects, ensuring technical and practical excellence to maximize client service quality.

Build and maintain new and existing client relationships both internally and externally.

As part of a global entity, manage leads and opportunities from other areas of the law practice and EY network and help them do the same.

Contribute to development of the law practice through initiatives such as internal training, developing precedents, sharing knowhow, participating in team and firm events, giving internal and external presentations, and producing expert articles for publications.

Skills and Attributes for Success

Aim to create a distinctive law brand; suited for aspiring law professionals from established law firms seeking to grow within a growing legal advisory team.

Solid understanding of Saudi’s legal systems and regulatory frameworks; strong technical knowledge.

Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities with strategic and commercial awareness.

Creative and pragmatic problem solving; flexible and enthusiastic approach; strong negotiation skills; ability to adapt and learn quickly with evolving laws.

Qualifications & Experience

At least 2 to 5 years of experience as a qualified lawyer from a reputable legal practice environment.

Good technical knowledge of Saudi corporate law and regulatory environment.

Strong client relationship-building capabilities with strategic and commercial awareness.

Excellent communication, collaboration, self-management, and project management skills.

Fluency in Arabic, both written and spoken.

Ideally, knowledge of corporate transactions.
