Procurement Manager

We are seeking an experienced Head of Procurement

to oversee purchasing operations in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in supplier negotiations, cost optimization, and inventory management, with a proven track record in the retail sector.

Responsibilities

Manage purchasing needs based on inventory data, sales forecasts, and market trends.

Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and long-term partnerships.

Oversee purchase orders, delivery follow-ups, and quality assurance of goods.

Maintain optimal inventory levels and align forecasts with seasonal retail demand.

Develop and manage supplier relationships, including audits and performance evaluations.

Control procurement budgets, track KPIs, and prepare regular reports.

Implement process improvements, cost‑saving initiatives, and sustainability practices.

Collaborate with merchandising, logistics, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

Lead, mentor, and develop procurement staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

9+ years of procurement / supply chain experience in the retail industry.

Strong skills in supplier negotiations, contract management, and vendor relations.

Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analysis tools.

Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and leadership abilities.

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume retail environment.
