AWS Global Sales (AGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AGS team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services. As a Partner Account Manager within the AWS Public Sector team, you will have the exciting opportunity to help execute on our strategy to build mind share and assist adoption of Amazon’s infrastructure web services (Amazon S3, Amazon EC2, Amazon SimpleDB, Amazon SQS, etc.) across AWS’s most strategic business partners and their customers. Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include driving executive and field relationships with leading partners practically impacting Public Sector AWS adoption. Establish and grow business and technical relationships, and manage the day-to-day interactions with these accounts to drive overall end customer adoption within the Public Sector segments. Engage at the CXO level with partners and interact with public sector customers and AWS team members. Think big about business, product, and technical challenges and convey compelling value propositions to help deliver partner results. About the team and culture

Significant partner management or business development experience in the software / technology industry. Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences. Strong program management skills with a focus on delivering scalable programs supporting hundreds of customers / partners. Strong technical acumen with a track record of driving emerging / disruptive technologies like open source software, virtualization and Software as a Service delivery models. Strong verbal and written communications skills, and the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations. English and Arabic. Degree educated or equivalent.
