Job Description : Perform diagnostic radiographs, daily maintenance of x-ray equipment and room, daily maintenance of x-ray film processor and handles processing of radiology requests, radiology reports and x-ray films, and ensure strict compliance with applicable clinic rules and regulations. Responsibilities

Prepares patient for radiological procedures by positioning the patient, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into the correct position, and setting exposure factors. Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties and explaining treatments; answers questions. Minimizes radiation exposure to patients and staff by applying radiation protection techniques, using beam-restrictive devices, patient shielding, and understanding exposure factors. Maintains production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures; develops radiographs; observes radiographic results; makes necessary adjustments. Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications. Work Environment

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Applied Medical Science – Radiology section Experience

2 years of practical experience following graduation Computer Skills
