Senior Road Safety Design Manager (MAS 610)

Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a Senior Road Safety Design Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of road safety measures throughout our major development projects. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring that all road infrastructures meet the highest safety standards, contributing to the overall vision of creating a safe and accessible world-class entertainment destination.

Responsibilities

• Manage Roads projects assigned by development
• Manage Parking projects assigned by development, (e.g., park & ride, temporary parking, parking structure)
• Manage all internal and external governance (including any authority or government agency) interactions including (but not limited to) those required for approvals, stakeholder interaction etc.
• Manage all activities required to undertake your responsibilities, including (but not limited to) consultant procurement, management and contract management, committee presentations, gateway approvals etc.
• Manage preparations for opening and operational readiness scenarios specific to transport modes
• Manage the preparation of impact assessments as a result of changes or other factors, including the impacts on cost, time and quality.
• Manage the support of all other job families as necessary.
• Manage (Road Safety) the management of the adoption process for roads (including parking, bridges etc,) systems to either National Champions, the Private Sector or Master Developer Operations.
• Manage Road Safety Management System, including adoption of the Safe System Approach
• Manage a central road safety resource to support planning, road safety audits, IRAP assessments, design review and project development to master developers
• Manage preparation and management of any and all road safety consultant shortlist, including regular review, supplier interface on performance and updates as necessary.
• Support the production of road safety policies across Qiddiya to support Qiddiyas City Value Proposition and Mobility targets
• Manage the review of all submissions to ensure that road safety being managed against proposed strategies.
• Manage the management of the Road Safety elements of the City Framework reports, guidelines, codes and standards and plans to ensure consistency of information and betterment as necessary.
• Support the management of onsite road safety, both at a city and district level, including review of all temporary traffic management plans etc.
• Support crash predication, reporting, investigation & data collection.
