Director Investment & Business Development

Job Description

As the Investment and Business Development Director, you will spearhead the company's efforts in identifying and capitalizing on investment opportunities for sustainable urban development projects. Drawing upon your extensive experience in investment management and your deep understanding of the engineering industry, you will lead initiatives to attract funding, secure partnerships, and drive the financial success of our projects.

The Investment and Business Development Director will work closely with the Investment Planning Director and the team.

Qualifications

• Investment and Business Development Strategy : Develop and execute a comprehensive Business development strategy aligned with projects objectives and market dynamics.
• Opportunity Identification : Conduct in-depth market research and feasibility studies to identify potential investment opportunities in sustainable urban development projects.
• Investor Relations : Cultivate and maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to secure funding and support for project development.
• Due Diligence : Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including financial, legal, and technical assessments, to mitigate risks and ensure investment viability.
• Deal Structuring : Lead negotiations and structuring of investment deals, including equity investments, debt financing, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
• Compliance and Reporting : Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting standards, and provide regular updates to stakeholders on investment performance and portfolio management.
• Team Leadership : Provide leadership and guidance to the investment development team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
