Contracts Specialist II (KSAU / KAIMRC) (سعوده / إحلال)

Principal Duties

• Coordinates with various departments and other special projects to develop contractual requirements, develop contractual plans with listing of prospective contractors.
• Invites all concerned vendors to participate and provide their quotations (RFQ) in the Etimad operational system as required by the Governmental Procurement Procedure.
• Coordinates with National Unified Procurement Company (NUPCO) on medical’s effective strategic procurement.
• Ensures to be updated with Local Content & Growth Procurement Authority formulated new policies.
• Prepares requests for proposals (RFP), modifications and supplemental agreements for contracts and negotiates the changes, as well as, maintains contracts files and procurement summaries.
• Reviews contractual package and ensures the quality of contents and if it is aligned with Ministry of Finance and Departmental Policies and Procedures.
• Coordinates the negotiation process regarding contract term, conditions and prices.
• Initiates and processes the purchasing order. Performs, administers, recommends, negotiates, Amendments and monitors the funds requirements of the post award contract.
• Receives awarded Public Tender package from proper section and finalize contracting, obtain MOF approval if needed and others approval as needed.
• Initiates GOSI, ZATKA forms and send it over proper channels.
• Performs other job-related duties as required.
