Overview
The PMO Specialist will be a core member of Lifera’s Strategy Unit, reporting directly to the Strategy Director. The role is responsible for ensuring effective monitoring, execution, and reporting of Lifera’s corporate strategy and newly-defined vertical strategies (e.g., SaudiBio, Lifera Omics, New CDMO). Area of Responsibility
This position requires strong project management expertise, strategic acumen, and the ability to coordinate complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders. The PMO Specialist will establish and implement project management standards, tools and processes that ensure strategic objectives are delivered in line with Lifera’s mandate. Strategy Execution and Monitoring
Support the Strategy Director in tracking the execution of corporate and vertical strategies. Translate strategic objectives into initiatives, milestones, and measurable KPIs. Monitor progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes of strategic initiatives. PMO Standards and Governance
Design, implement and enforce project management methodologies, templates, and reporting frameworks tailored for Lifera’s Strategy Unit. Ensure alignment with best practices and internal governance requirements. Performance Tracking and Reporting
Develop and maintain dashboards, progress reports, and executive updates for senior leadership and the Board. Ensure timely escalation of issues and risk mitigation actions. Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with vertical leads, corporate functions, and external partners to align on priorities and progress. Facilitate effective communication and decision-making across stakeholders. Identify lessons learned and best practices for continuous enhancement of Lifera’s strategy execution processes. Benchmark against global biopharma and corporate PMO best practices. Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field (required). Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, MPA, or equivalent) preferred. Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or MSP strongly preferred. Work Experience
5-6 years of professional experience, with at least 4 years in project / program management, PMO, or strategy execution roles. Prior experience in life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or consulting (top-tier management consulting firms) strongly desirable. Demonstrated track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives. Required Skills
Strong knowledge of project / program management methodologies and tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong presentation, reporting, and executive communication skills. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced environment. High proficiency with MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and PMO reporting / dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI, Smartsheet). Arabic language proficiency ideal, but not required Seniority level
