Description
Responsible for ensuring the safety of the airport environment through effective fire and life safety inspections, education, and response to aircraft emergencies, firefighting, rescue operations, and hazardous material incidents as needed. The candidate will possess a strong sense of duty, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform under pressure in challenging situations. Reports to the Fire Chief or his designee. Qualifications
Associate's Degree or higher. Certification from the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC), Department of Defense (DoD), and / or ProBoard required as specified below. Hazardous Materials – Awareness and Operations Fire and Emergency Services Inspector II CPR / AED Certification from the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress certification (IFSAC), Department of Defense (DoD) and / or ProBoard required within one year of hire as specified below. Public Fire and Life Safety Educator II Fire and Emergency Services Instructor I National Incident Management System (NIMS) – 100, 200, 700, and 800 Minimum 2 years of work experience with either a civilian or military fire department. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Fire Inspector Trainee. Skilled in written and oral communications, public relations, and basic mathematics. Ability to comprehend and apply instructions and communicate information in a clear and concise manner. Expert knowledge of aircraft rescue and firefighting techniques, practices, and equipment, as well as first aid and CPR. Considerable knowledge of the design and characteristics of military and civilian rotary wing aircraft. Ability to quickly perform and direct all functions in difficult, hazardous, and potentially dangerous situations, without hesitation. Ability to perform physically demanding work and withstand very hazardous conditions. Medical Examination :
Candidates must successfully complete all mandatory medical examinations required to obtain employment. Criminal Record :
To qualify for a Saudi Work Visa, candidates must have a clean criminal record with no prior convictions, as specified by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Drug and Alcohol Testing :
Candidates must pass a drug test to be considered for employment. Additionally, our ATSS program enforces a random drug and alcohol testing policy.
