Overview

NEOM Green Hydrogen Company Limited (NGHC) is building the world’s largest plant to produce green ammonia at scale, supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. NGHC will integrate up to 4GW of onshore solar and wind energy to supply up to 650 tons of green ammonia per day for transportation globally. Operations will go onstream in 2026. NGHC brings together ACWA Power, Air Products and NEOM in a joint-venture with extensive experience in hydrogen, energy, renewables and global networks.

Position : Cybersecurity Architecture and OT Architect Specialist

Division : Cybersecurity Architecture & OT

Reports To : Cybersecurity Architecture and OT Manager

Position Summary

The Cybersecurity Architecture and OT Architect Specialist is responsible for designing secure IT and OT infrastructure, ensuring all architecture artifacts meet security and regulatory requirements. The role provides expert advice on secure configurations and technology solutions for industrial and enterprise systems.

Nature & Scope

The Architect Specialist operates at a tactical and technical level, designing, reviewing, and implementing secure architecture for both enterprise IT systems and OT / ICS environments. It includes evaluating system designs for cyber risks, ensuring compliance with applicable cybersecurity frameworks, and supporting secure integration of industrial systems with IT infrastructure. Provides subject-matter expertise and hands-on design guidance in architecture development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Design and evaluate secure architecture for IT / OT integration
Conduct threat modeling and architecture risk assessments
Ensure secure network zoning and segmentation for ICS / SCADA
Support secure design documentation, diagrams, and reviews
Advise project and engineering teams on cybersecurity best practices
Align architecture with IEC 62443, TOGAF, SABSA
Collaborate with vendors and integrators on technical security solutions

Job Purpose / Role

To support secure design, architecture review, and implementation of cybersecurity controls across IT and OT environments, ensuring alignment with regulatory, business, and technical requirements.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Develop secure architecture designs and documentation for IT and OT systems

Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments on new and existing solutions

Map architecture designs against IEC 62443, NIST 800-82, and TOGAF standards

Provide consultation on secure network segmentation, DMZs, and zoning for OT

Advise on secure integration of legacy ICS systems with modern IT networks

Review configurations of PLCs, HMIs, RTUs, and field devices

Collaborate with project teams, vendors, and system integrators

Develop detailed design documents, configuration templates, and security diagrams

Participate in vulnerability assessments and remediation planning

Skills / Technical Knowledge

Well-organized in maintaining documentation and secure design templates

Self-initiator with strong technical advisory capabilities

Knowledge and applied experience in secure architecture for ICS / SCADA and enterprise systems

Flexibility to work across different sites, including field / plant environments

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Engineering, or Computer Science

Certifications : IEC 62443, SABSA / TOGAF, GICSP, or CISSP

Experience

5+ years of experience in architecture or OT cybersecurity
