Informatica and Cloudera Developer (BDM)

Location Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, KSA (ONSITE)

Contract 12 months, extendable

Experience 7+ years

Immediate Joiners preferred. Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of hands-on experience in

ETL and Big Data development .

Strong proficiency in

Informatica PowerCenter

and

Informatica Big Data Management (BDM) .

Deep technical understanding of

Cloudera components (HDFS, Hive, Spark, Impala, Oozie) .

Experience in

Spark job optimization ,

performance tuning , and

data pipeline orchestration .

Good knowledge of

data governance, quality, and metadata management .

Experience working with

on-prem Cloudera environments .

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have

Experience with

Python or Shell scripting

for automation.

Exposure to

cloud migration

or

hybrid data platform

projects.

Familiarity with

DevOps tools

(Git, Jenkins, CI / CD for data workflows).

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes using

Informatica PowerCenter

and

Informatica BDM .

Implement

data integration and migration

solutions across diverse data sources (RDBMS, flat files, Hadoop).

Configure and manage

Cloudera ecosystem components

– HDFS, Hive, Spark, Impala, and Oozie.

Develop and deploy

BDM applications, mappings, and workflows

for batch and real-time data processing.

Build and fine-tune

Spark-based data pipelines

for performance and scalability.

Create

reusable ETL frameworks

and templates for standardization and faster delivery.

Perform

performance tuning, debugging, and optimization

of Informatica and Spark jobs.

Implement

data quality, validation, and metadata management

processes.

Collaborate with

data architects, analysts, and business teams

to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Manage

workflow scheduling, monitoring, and production support .

Ensure

data security, governance, and compliance

across all data operations.

Mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
