Sourcing Manager

Overview

Procurement / Sourcing Manager based in Saudi Arabia. Reports to the Factory General Manager. Responsible for the purchase of goods, materials and services to meet operational needs with attention to price, quality and delivery, ensuring continuity of supply. Leads purchasing strategy, policy and processes within the organization. The role supports Nextracker’s mission in the energy transition and sustainability initiatives. Here Is Some Of What You’ll Do

General Task Management Ensure purchasing policies and processes meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets, enabling the company to function and compete effectively. Create and review opportunities to implement best practice purchasing policies, processes and procedures to deliver best value and savings. Evaluate business challenges, mitigate risks and develop opportunities. Maintain and update purchasing policy, guidelines and related documents. Utilize resources including Supplier Development to secure appropriate supplier partnerships and delivery of sourced products. Develop creative procurement processes (eProcurement) and provide management reports and KPI data on cost savings. Manage supplier relationships, select and develop new suppliers; negotiate and manage contract terms with input from stakeholders. Review and renegotiate existing agreements to optimize commercial terms. Assess tenders from potential suppliers and measure supplier performance, quality and compliance against KPI criteria where applicable. Ensure professional and consistent supplier management across the supply base in line with policy. Ensure parts are sourced in full and aligned to production schedules and customer requirements.

People Management Manage, coach and develop a high-performing Procurement team that delivers best-practice results, value and continuous improvements. Promote high standards through personal example and cascade expectations to the team. Financial and Budget Control Maintain and hold responsibility for maintenance budgets. Relationship Management Collaborate with the Management team to drive continuous improvement and process enhancements to optimize results and delivery quality, meeting Company and Customer requirements. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance. Engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the maintenance strategy. Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor of Engineering, Diploma, ITI certifications Proven 10-12 years of experience as a Procurement or Sourcing lead / manager Results-driven with attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and leadership skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Good technical and IT skills; working knowledge of SAP or Netsuite is advantageous Preferred Experiences

Extensive plant-level procurement management experience Experience in a purchasing management role, preferably in automotive or steel manufacturing Ability to add value, reduce costs and drive business improvements Knowledge of Fabrication, Product Assembly, Plating processes Experience in customer communications and vendor development Contract management and supplier experience Understanding of project management Knowledge of Stell fabrication processes and supply chain management Team player with strong organizational skills Nextracker is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
