The American International School - Riyadh is seeking a licensed full-time Elementary School Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Please only apply if you meet the minimum criteria below; candidates who do not meet the minimum criteria will not be considered.
Qualifications & Eligibility Criteria :
- Candidate must be a resident of Saudi Arabia and a dependent under her / his husband's / wife's sponsorship (Local Hire Status)
- Professional Teaching Certification is required. (Elementary School Licensed Educator, North American)
- Certification in the specific subject area.
- 4 year Bachelor's Degree required.
- Master’s degree in Education or related field preferred.
- A proven record of excellence in prior full-time Lower Elementary teaching posts for a minimum of two years
- Fluent English language capacity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to start work August 6, 2026.
- Understands and can commit to AIS-R work hours : 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm. (5 : 00pm on Tuesdays).

Compensation will be determined based on the established Faculty salary schedule.
Contractual hours : 8 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm. (5 : 00 pm on Tuesdays)
Faculty are expected to fulfill duties that extend beyond the school day, including commitments to after-school activities (ASAs), after-school learning (ASL), and coaching (requirement for Physical Education teachers).
Learning and Growth : Performance is appraised through the AIS-R Professional Growth and Evaluation framework and in accordance with school policy by the designated Supervisor.
